
- As always the food at Bubala was sensational, especially the aubergine and the salted caramel chocolate truffles. It’s all brilliant though.
- My birthday cake was made by the talented Sophie. Lemon and raspberry with almond. The lemon was subtle but the cake was incredible. This was a gift and I would heartily recommend you look to buy from her if you’re looking for a celebration cake.
- My lovely friend Felicity also made me a bundt cake to Georgina Hayden’s almond and pear cake recipe. What an incredible cake. See out the recipe on Georgie’s Instagram here.


- The most incredible Pump Street Chocolate and Honey biscuit from new bakery Toklas. Only £1.50. A fair price for the size but felt like excellent value for its deliciousness. Loved the individual apple tart, too.

- Visited O’Craquelin and bought their chocolate sandwiched with 70% Guanaja chocolate and, like the cookie above, was excellent value for the quality, at £1.80. The passionfruit one was also incredible.
- Salted Honey Tart dropped to my door by Hugo Harrison, to the recipe by Sister Pie Detroit. Donation was made to Ace of Clubs.
