Chocolate alfajores, chocolate and more chocolate. w/e Sunday 20th Feb
I was sent Valentine’s specials from Sur Chocolates. I love these guys so much. It’s so unique and done so well. My favourite was the 85% with the meringue. This was a gift but I’ve bought them for myself and others before and will again.
The final Online Mystery Chocolate Tasting. At least, the final of the guaranteed monthly ones. I loved all of the chocolates – of course! – but especially Paul A Young’s chocolate with Australian whisky and Firetree Papua New Guinea chocolate and the rocher made for us by Abigail or Le Choux. Shout out to Leyre Pedrazuela Otero and Delphine of Azura Chocolat as well! Their chocolates were equally gorgeous. You’ll find Delphine at Old Spitalfields Market most Fridays and Saturdays as well as online. Leyre is the Executive Pastry Chef at Shangri-La in the Shard and I cannot wait to go and eat there!
